Reimbursement Subcommittee Terms of Reference

Role and Objectives of the Committee

• To support the Access Committee in the strategic development and delivery of Association policies in matters pertinent to its expertise and role
• Medical Technology reimbursement schemes which fall within the purview of the Reimbursement Subcommittee include:

a) Prostheses List
b) Medicare Benefits Schedule with Medical Services Advisory Committee (MSAC) approval

• 1.3 The Reimbursement Subcommittee only addresses product-specific issues if a particular issue could establish a precedent for the medical technology industry in general.
