Conflict resolution is critical for anyone in any type of relationship. This can extend from work to home, if you are a manager or leader and are seeking to enhance your workplace relationships with benefits to everyone.
This course explores the factors that drive conflict and ways to effectively intervene and facilitate
positive outcomes in often emotive situations.
By learning to identify conflict in its early stages and develop the skills to respond with confidence and effectively resolve workplace situations before they escalate.
This one day Conflict Resolution Practical Skills workshop is scenario-based learning to ensure you leave with understand the phases of conflict and the impact conflict has personally and professionally on yourself and others.
The participants develop an understanding of their current communication skills and the impact on workplace behaviours. Participants learn how to conduct positive interactions with colleagues and customers and how to de-escalate a conflict situation by choosing from a variety of resolution options.
Participants will learn the basis of understanding the three methods for resolving the underlying issues using Principle Centred Conflict Resolution Strategies:

· Task Conflict
· Relationship Conflict
Learning Outcomes:
· Identify and assess conflict situation while recognising and anticipating the signs, stages and possible causes of conflict
· Clarify the factors and issues relevant to conflict while exploring possible resolutions using appropriate communication techniques
· Scenario-based learning to conduct conflict resolution meetings and know when to refer to mediation or individual counselling
· Participants will be able to articulate the importance of perception, judgements, required for success
