Government Mandated Lockdown
In 2024, the MTAA Conference and Industry Awards Dinner Sponsors are face-to-face events at the International Convention Centre (ICC), Sydney. As a precaution, hybrid functionality has been setup to ensure any attendees who are unable to attend in person at the last minute due to a Government mandated lockdown will still have access to the Conference online.
If a Government-mandated lockdown is enforced and as a result the MTAA Conference and/or Industry Awards Dinner cannot run face-to-face at all and has to move to online only (not hybrid), the Organiser will offer a 25% credit of the total Sponsorship amount paid by the Company towards the MTAA Conference and/or Industry Awards Dinner in the following calendar year. The dollar amount can be credited to any Sponsorship package for the following year and it does not need to be the same package. All credits will be subject to the new Sponsorship package rates and inclusions of the following calendar year. All deposits/monies paid by the Sponsor Company are non-refundable. MTAA is not responsible for any loss, damage, cost or expense suffered or incurred by the Sponsor Company and/or any third party as a result of the lockdown, or from going hybrid or moving the MTAA Conference and/or Industry Awards Dinner to online.
