Prescribed List (formerly Prostheses List) Reform Update
Changes to the Prescribed List (PL) continue to be implemented and consultations are also underway. There has been recent media relating to the government announcement back on 14 June to postpone delisting of General Use items (Part D) from the PL but without having any interim bundling arrangements. The news reflected commentary by stakeholders not any new government policy. MTAA continues to work to push back on this policy, particularly the unanticipated additional 10% reduction.
