Training Level Descriptors

The following training levels have been applied to all MTAA training modules.

Level 1 (L1)
Modules with this training level rating are typically introductory modules at an operational level. Participants will have:

• limited knowledge, skills and understanding of the topic
• limited or no experience within this area of the medical technology industry, or the industry generally.

Level 2 (L2)
Modules with this training level rating are typically advanced modules at an operational level. Participants will have:

• broad knowledge, skills and understanding of the topic
• experience within this area of the medical technology industry.

Level 3 (L3)
Modules with this training level rating are typically designed for senior management. Participants will have:

• a deep level of knowledge, skills and understanding in strategic planning, executive and management issues
• extensive experience in the medical technology industry.

All training module descriptions include L1, L2 or L3  indicating the level the training is targeted at.
